o/t USA/Canada vacation

Arrived safely in Denver, picked the hire car and set off for Moab, took most of the afternoon to get there, nice town. Was woken by a loud chirping sound, found our first ever cockroach, not pleasent. We got out of that accomodation quickly and now in a lovely hotel. Visited Arches National Park yesterday, some lovely sights. We are off to Canyonlands National Park today, looking forward to some great sights.

Geez,I live in this country and you're seeing things I have only dreamed of seeing so far.

Wasn't aware that cockroaches chirp; could it have been a cricket? Anyway, enjoy your visit. If a cockroach is the most distressing part of your trip you are in go-o-o-d shape.

Bill, enjoy your vacation. Drive safely. Can recommend the Holiday Inn Express in Moab. Spent a few days there last Oct. Very interesting and scenic part of USA.

Zion, Bryce, and the Grand Canyon? Mesa Verde? All are great I haven"t made the Grand Canyon yet.

I should have given you more time to plan but everything just came together in the last couple of days before we left and we were just so busy. We made tea at the Texas Roadhouse so that was good. We are having a great time so far. Am I correct in thinking you are into tractor pulling, saw something about a 660 in a post. Is it farming you do for a living?
Bill

You must have taken good care of your hearing if you were woken up by a cricket. I think it's been twenty years or more since I last heard one chirp.

Yes I am into antique tractor pulling.Am currently 'pulling' a modified '37 F12.Never had a 660(?).Yes,I farm full time.Ues old IH equipment.
