Cool this morning. It snowed in the high mountains.Feels like October.Hope its not a sign of things to come...

You and me both. I'm starting to have bad dreams about not getting the rest of this hay put up.

Fall is here in south central Texas too. Leaves turning brown and falling off, temp down to the upper 90's dropping to the upper 70's by dawn, deer scraping velvet, kids back in school. Well maybe the trees are droping leave cause it hasn't rained since early July but this is Texas. Y'all enjoy the cool!

Not cool here in the desert (107 for today) but some of the plants look like they are going into fall foliage even though we had a good rain and they get irrigated every day. As they say, you can't fool mother nature.

I think the ND farmers are going to have problems; the late planted crops aren't ready to harvest yet and fall is closing in there right now.

In central NC I wouldn't say fall is in the air just yet, but we have had some cooler days lately, but then it goes back into the 90s. We had such a late spring I don't care if fall waits until about Dec. first.

I need about 4 good days in a row without rain and good drying. Have a couple fields that I need to put up yet.

I could use 10. Eight in a row or two different 4 in a row might do it if I really push things hard.

I know what you mean. Around Concord it"s been noticeably cooler in the mornings for the last week or so, but it has actually seemed hotter to me in the afternoons than it was a month ago. I"m just hoping winter doesn"t throw us anything too far out of the ordinary this year.
