Nuther puncture today, same tire. Wonder what the world record for punctures is in a tire. Was lucky today in that I stopped at a rest area and heard it leaking, it was down to 30 lbs and would likely have blown soon. I will probly change this tire out, but wouldn't want to pay to have a tire service come out to nowheresville west Texas along I10. probly 250 miles to nearest tire service place from here. Near Junction Tx.

Didn't you buy a used x1 a while back?
Is this the same tire?

It may seem you are out in the middle of no where but it is really not that bad.
There is a tire repair place just west of the rest area in Junction. The question is how close is the nearest dealer with a x1 if you had blown it.

Been out there many times as a boss I use to have had a 8000 acre cattle ranch just up the road in Rocksprings. While they did have cows it was mostly a tax write off and a place he could go dear hunting.

Dad was bush hogging for me the other day. He called and said "your not going to believe what i got stuck in the tire". Just glad it was a front tire and not a back tire.

had that a couple years ago in a rear tire, 4 point antler.
Buried all 4 prongs to the hilt and killed the tire.

Discing up some rocky rocky ground, years ago, got back to barn and had broke half a disc blade off. I know that half-blade is out there, hiding, waiting, just part of the point sticking up, waiting for me...

I was hauling a bucket of big limbs across a pasture several yrs ago. Couldn't see past the front of the tractor and ran into a piece of steel on an old mower. Metal went all the way through the tire.
My wife said she was glad I was driving instead of her. I told her I was glad I was going forward instead of backing. Anyway I got a new tire mounted that afternoon and the same week I stuck a deer antler in the new tire. Only cost a tire repair that time. Tommy

I did take the side wall out of one a while back. That was the start of the problems and it's been a steady stream since. That one was in the same position as this one, when I bought the used one was when I rotated the better ones from the tag forward to the drives.

Dam Jon,
You was telling me about all your tire problems when we talked earlier this week. After all your tire problems, I bet that you havent thought much about the Case engineer that designed that belt guard on your 1160. HeHe
If I was you, I would change that tire out and take it home and put it next to your mailbox and see how much junkmail it can collect.

I went to clean off my bush hog once last year and had an antler on the deck....wonder how it got on there??? This year I came across one and thru it on the mower deck...was doing some pretty steep sidehills and it slid off. Fortunately it was in the weeds and I chopped it up the next round.
