Spindle broke off too close to the base to weld. New Agco price $290. New aftermarket price. $190.

Waiting on phone call foe price and availibilty of a used one.

Having a machine shop make a new spindle and weld it on wouldn't be worth it for the price of new, I expect.

Hey, rrlund. The left wheel looks like the bearing is loose also. Noticed that side has been rubbing ocassionally on the tie rod. Gotta check that side out, too. Hope it's just bearings that need to be tightend. Wanna take odds on it being that simple?

Depends on the size of the tire I guess. It could be just a loose bearing. If it is though, you can probably kiss that two piece seal goodbye.
The last new spindle I bought was from A&I. I don't know what the deal was though. I had gotten a used one from Worthington for it before. I called them, told them what I needed it for, went and got it and it was right. When I ordered a new one,I sent the wife after it when it came in. She got home with it and it was way too big. I called them and they said that was the one that fit the 1850. They said the smaller one was for the 1550-1600-1650. That's the original factory front under mine. Funny the lighter one was right when I needed a used one but not when I needed a new one.

OK,mines a 66 model. They told me the spindle for mine was supposed to be the same as the one for the 2-105 but it wasn't.

According to the serial #, mines a 1965. I have 1100x16's on the front and there is not a lot of clearance to start with.
