I snapped a picture of the old DC Case that sits in the weeds at the neighbor's this morning when I was hauling bales off. I want it for the rear tires for my Oliver 77.
I got out and measured the axles out of pure curiosity and my mind started going all bat crap Big Daddy Roth crazy about the possibilities. Those axles are the same size as an Oliver 1600 parts tractor that I have here with 9 bolt hubs. I got to thinking 23.1 26 combine tires. The Case has a wide front,so set that out as far as it'll go with the narrowest triple rib 16 inch fronts I can find. A pair of Farmall H/M fenders, build up a frame for a Tisco new style seat,a four inch flat black boom tube...... As low as that thing sets anyway a person with some imagination and patience enough to look for parts could make quite a wild looking machine out of that old horse.
