Hey western Michigan!

You sending us any sunshine today? No rain out there but everything is soaking wet still. Lot of clouds but it feels like it is brightening a little. Chained to my desk chair for a few hours hoping for some better weather so I have an excuse to escape!

Sunny here but we will be in Clarksville for a show Thurs, Fri & Sat

They are showing rain

Where are you??

You must be in the Grand Rapids area? I was born there. Not one single memory except visiting my much loved grand parents there until the last one passed. I have tons of relatives in the area though. Dad moved us all to Detroit when I was 2 and I have been working my way west ever since. I am in the Brighton-Howell area now. I own enough real estate there to make it permanent.

Think I'll sit here and make some money before I head out and spend it. Seems to work better if you do it in that order. I'll watch for that sunshine!

The humidity's so high that it doesn't feel all the great. Sounds like it'll be a hot humid one for the Blanchard Steam Show this weekend. Forecast is for temps in the upper 80s with a 40% chance of rain for Saturday.

I was just swimming in the lake last week. Water was surprisingly warm compared to the same spot in July. That was way up in cherry land, though.

Just starting to get a peek at the sun here. Made a little money this AM so I think I'll see what needs doing outside!

We're seeing a mix of sun and clouds and humidity. Not bad when there's a breeze and the sun ducks behind a cloud. 80% chance of rain tomorrow. Food plot corn is filling out pretty good but since I planted too close a lot of the ears are small. Enough to last the critters the winter I think.

Gonna be a bit miserable firing the steamer and sawing shingles at Clarksville too.

When that rain comes tomorrow y'all hang onto it real tight and keep it on your side of the mitten. I don't understand all this talk about needing rain. My drive hasn't been dry in days and there is standing water in most of the fields. Starting to wear on me...again...like May.
