Another 70 acres and this operation is gonna be done for another year. Good thing; I've about had it with hay!

I wish we could get the weather for it. It hasn't really been wet, just cool, cloudy and humid.

That must be the last of first cut, still quite a bit of green, decent feed value, so it looks like the wheat is next and looking on time ?

Wheat is all in the bin. 416 acres cut and trucked in 23 hours. :>)

Next is planting next years wheat. That's always a pull.

Still hoping and need the remaining 40 acres of second cut here, if we ever get the weather to get it dry enough to bale, otherwise I am going to have to sell some animals as I won't have the feed for them.

You're to far from KY for that to be tall fescue. And no weeds to boot. Wonder what grass is that. Looks close to a record yield from here.

Yes, I saw that post with the harvest you guys weren't playin either, that's a lot of ground to cover, it was next years I was thinking of, sure gets busy out there for awhile don't it ? LOL !

I remember the same feeling, when all the hay was done, (not nearly the acres you have to deal with) oats in, lot of time between then and corn, and that could be a mess, like the summer grains much better, ground was usually easier to deal with and its warm !

Looks like your sickle has had enough, too....

Well bring them down to Durant, OK. stockyards if you have any to sell. Prices are booming for good beef.

Yep,

One rake has a bar bearing out, had to do major work on the baler yesterday and this set of sickles have over 1300 acres on 'em in the last two years.

Time for some winter-time maintenance. :>)
