I figger to be there. Somebody's gotta fork the oats. Got 4 nice wagon loads there if they don't get washed away! Kind of day not to get outside work done today.....
 
Ya,I'll be there Saturday to pitch a load. JWondergem said he'll be there Friday,so keep an eye out for him.
I thought that rain earlier this morning would be all there was. There wasn't anything on the radar behind it. I went out when it ended and pulled the haybine up in front of the shop to change some knives after I moved some first cutting out of where I need to put some straw. The rain came up out of nowhere and has been training right over us every since. We were to the point that we needed it pretty bad though,so no complaints from me. I went over to J's and picked up a crank. Been sitting here watching it rain since I got home.
 
Was in East Tawas for a "must be there" family wedding reception Saturday. Rained pretty good in the morning there. Was sweating bullets, as the oats were still in shocks in the field. No rain here. When we got back, all the oats were gone - on wagons, and taken to Blanchard and under shelter. Preston and Eric (mostly Eric) had done the whole job. I was picturing wife on tractor, me on a pitchfork all day Sunday. Only problem was a tire failure on Dave's wagon. I gladly donated a used tire for a replacement!
 
My group will be there. Just look for a herd of Fordson tractors and you found us . Look for the biggest guy there and that's me. I believe we have 4 or 5 coming.
 
We'll be out back by the steam. Look for the guys who know they need to go to work but don't really want to. lol

Our plans have changed for this weekend, so were going
to try to make it up there on Saturday - late morning.
We'll try to look everyone up and at least say Hi.
 
This may be one of those situations where it is more work to
teach than it is to do it yourself, but I'm willing if you are! LOL
