I hosted a plow day for the County Line Antique Tractor Club Saturday at my farm in Perry, Mi. We had 15 tractors and 51 people show up. We had a ball!

I liked the smell of the fresh turned earth, but otherwise plowing was kind of a boring job. We just had too many acres to turn over with a couple of 3-bottom plows; seemed like a never ending job. We started plowing right after harvest and sometimes finished when snow was falling.

I drove up M52 from Stockbridge through Perry Saturday on the way to the Oakley old tractor show, then back down through Perry after the show. Saw Dale Thompson there, he did my Wico X magneto off my '50 JD B and my DLTX carburetor, he lives a couple of miles north of I69 a few miles east of M52 and is a retired GM tool and die worker and does a great job. He also restores and paints tractors and has a neat collection of old stuff including a lot of old gas engines.

Looks like you had a good mixture of tractors and plows. Ground turned over nice, you must have got a lot more rain than we did last week.
