still having steering problems after redoingt mcv lost any type of steering did not haqve another pump purschased use mcv and pump now have same as before started working on it back in April the steering works alittle to the left and a little to the right the locks up and cannot turn any farther in either direction

Check the pressure at the power steering cylinder if little to nothing the problem is at the pump if you get normal pressure the problem is most likely at the cylinder.

Are you saying the steering wheel locks up? Or does the front axle lock up, can you still force the wheel to very slowly turn. If you shut engine off can you still turn wheel some. If it locks up at the steering wheel the steering hand pump is the problem. What happens to the ta and brakes, oil light?
