A little antique pull'n

Went to an antique tractor pull last weekend at Dalhart Tx. XIT rodeo and other festivities. My brothers WD was the featured tractor this year. I also have a pic of him pulling with the 36 D he owns. He also took a massey 44, and a JD 730lp. I took a JD 40, my sons Case SC, Farmall B, and a JD 60.

I see a John Deere G converted to propane in photo 4. Tell me, how do the G's pull on propane?

Wow, My oldest brother farmed with an old JD D. Looked just like the one in the pic. That was some workhorse in it's time. I had seat time on the old girl. I remember sitting behind the rear tires. Thanks for the pic.

That WD is the first one I have seen with the implement bail on it besides mine. Got my finger in the way sorry. Some one needs to paint mine.

Read a lot about Dalhart and the XIT in the book "The Worst Hard Time". I recommend it.
