I went to the County Fair yesterday and was just looking at JD tractors. Although prices are higher with the Tier 4 engines, I liked the 4052R & 5065E tractors. 0% financing is attractive. IDK.

it's all up front in the purchase price.
 
When I bought a new 4040 in 1981 and paid cash with no trade in,they knocked 12% right off the top.
 
If you negotiate the best price you can letting them think are paying cash and then tell them you want to take advantage of there financing how is the cost upfront?

I have taken advantage of the 0% and pay no more than a cash deal.

Now if they say there are fees involved to use the 0% after the price is set then I would not finance it.

I traded it off with almost 13,000 hours on it. They don't sell for what I paid for it,not around here anyway with that many hours.
 
Whenever I think about buying something, I ask myself one question.
"If I buy this today and decide to sell it tomorrow, would I at least get my money back?"
 
Bison is right there is no such thing as 0% financing. The cash price is cheaper than the financed price. You pay what they would have gotten on interest upfront. I figured it up awhile ago and it did end up being a lot lower interest rate than any bank would offer so it's still a nice deal.
