Changes to pole barn A/C

Using a spring and plumbing strap, I changed the design of my shop A/C so I can angle the fans upward towards me or down to the floor when I want to blow the dirt out. Works great

The fan on the right is a 3/4 hp, 3 speed. I put outside near the side of pole barn door. On hi, you can actually feel the freeze where the hot air exits the barn. Doesn't take long to cool things down.

George.. mine isnt that elaborate. But I use one of those when stacking hay in barn.. helps move the air and on a hot, stagnet, day it helps to generate a breeze..

I found it while helping clean out a basement. The carrage part was missing. I wish I had more. It rolls so easy. Have to set brake or it will move backward. If I had two, I could have babby buggy races. That would be COOL!

I see you know the secret to making those blower motors work, they need a restriction to move air.

Actually, restricting the air does two things. Yes it jets the air. It also allows the motor to run faster and reduces the amp draw. I put the wood in front of blower, had an ammeter connected and adjusted blockage for minimum amp draw.

If you restrict the intake of a fan, the opposite will happen.
