Gotta thank the snake oil sales people here

I added a quart of Lucas oil stabilizer to the transmission on my MH44 and the Farmall H about a month ago.

I would not believe it, but they are both really quieting down.

We bought a Chevy pickup last winter that hadn't been driven much the last 10 years. It would take several minutes for the automatic transmission to warm up enough to shift into reverse. I put a bottle of Lucas transmission fix in it and it immediately started working and has worked perfectly ever since. The magic is that is softens up the seals enough that they stop leaking by so much.

I'm telling you, I swear by Lucas products. When I owned the bus company I had a bus with a bad transmission. The seals were leaking internally keeping it from building enough pressure to shift or have reverse. I put the tranny fix in it and it worked like clockwork for another year. This is a daily route bus. Finally I just put a new trans in it so I could quit worry about it. I have used the steering product and the engine oil products as well. The only grease I will use in a grease gun is the Lucas extreme duty (green). I thought it was all snake oil, too. Nothing is going to make an engine or transmission work like new, but their products seem to help get the remaining life out of the things that are still useable.

i use most all their products in everything i own i mixed all their fuel products in a jar with super unleaded two months ago just to see if anything would separate so far so good

Is that specifically for a standard trans. or is it oil in general snake oil? I need to try something in my Super M trans.

Well ????what have I been telling you guys ?,, lucas is GOOD STUFF ,.. I use it for last 20 yrs in everything old here and they run like a good watch ...

Forrest Lucas that owns Lucas Oil grew up in this community and went to school in Ramsey,Indiana
His products are top notch.
He is a good example that hard work pays off in the end.
Everything he has, he worked for,and came from humble beginnings

I have used Lucas Products in all my tractors and vehicles for about 15 years and I swear by it. Loosens stuck rings, quiets transmissions and keeps you going. really good stuff.

That lucas stuff saved my Injector pump that I found out was not supplied oil by the engine like the rest of my tractors are.... I do not know how, but it definately works.

Have a 2000 Dodge 1500 that had the notorious (and apparently phantom and unfixable, per Dodge Corp.) P1740 transmission code intermittently for several years. I/they chased it each time it showed up, no joy. Finally tried a bottle of Lucas transmission fix at a friends behest, and have had no more codes/erratic shifting for about 22kmi. Not saying Lucas "fixed" anything, but it sure is an intersesting coincidence that I'm happy to live with.

I"ve got to add my 2 cents, though I already have.

2006 3/4 ton Chevy van with just a 4.8 in it, ran it like it was a 1 ton. Always towing and hauling for 625,000 miles. Sold it on Craig"s a couple months back for $2500, all original drivetrain.

Lucas in the oil, conventional with 4-5,000 mile changes.

In the tranny, rear end, and fuel too. Never serviced the tranny. Over the mountains 40 or 50 times. Overheated 3 or 4 times. Boiled the oil out of it in winter with a hotplate I was using to heat the pan at night. Drove it for 2 days with nothing but sludge.

Gotta think the Lucas helped. That, and a fine American machine to start with. Those Chevy motors are bulletproof! 4.8, 5.3, 6.0, all same block I think.
