Earlier you said your M has the low first/reverse.Did it come that way,or did you add them? I have wanted for years to find some low low first geat for my SuperM.Not for 'pulling',but for farming.The 'stock' first is pretty fast.Too fast at times.Any one out in tractor land got some?Thanks

Can't tell ya much about the M, But I know your Old A would just loved to have a late model single shifter A Belt pulley ^ 1st reduction gear
installed on it. Slow it down to a pace where
a person could actually use it for something.
The Old won't run out power & 6th gear is much
slower too....

It has the factory low 1st and reverse,the serial number ends in X1A.I can't understand why they didn't build more this way.Is handy backing loaded hay wagons up into the bank barn,with the low reverse,don't have to slip the clutch.Low 1st is about 1 mph wide open.Reverse is very slow,too.
