have a 550 oliver that needs another 250 lbs. has anyone tried windshield washer fluid in the rear tires for extra weight? any comments would be helpful THANKS

its what I put in mine not as heavy as calcium but non corrosive also..check around for pricing because here in mo you can buy the straight methanol and mix your own cheaper than paying $2.00 or more per gallon for wwf..also make sure you get the winter blend good for minus 20 ..most of it now is good for plus 25...hope this helps

Anti freeze or washer fluid will work good. Just wheel weights will add aprox. 280# per pair I have three sets

I have used it in garden/lawn tractors. Didn't notice much difference from the bit of weight gained there. What made a night and day difference was hanging a 250 pound block of concrete off the back of my 318 garden tractor.

Like others have said I don't think you will hardly notice the difference adding just 250# to a 550 Oliver.

Here is another idea. Link is for a product made from sugar beet juice. Noncorrosive and denser than water or Washer fluid.

Rim Guard

I have RimGuard in my 2Ns rears. I think the installer said was about 300lbs per side plus another 200lbs in steel weights per side. For winter there is a 350 weight hanging off the 3 point and what ever chains weigh. Over kill? Haven't been stuck plowing snow in 3 yrs :)
