To my surprise I ran out of diesel on my tractor today. I refilled the tank and now starting the priming process, I can not seem to find an inline priming pump

question: what is the correct priming procedure for an IHC 784 tractor?

Start loosing the lines to injectors and let the air out until u get fuel u may have to start at filters work your way to pump then to injectors where ever u have a fitting loosen until u get fuel in shot work from tank to injectors

No hand primer on my Hydro 84 either. I bleed the filter screws, then loosten the inlet banjo at the pump, when air is gone loosten the injector line nuts and crank as needed to get fuel to the injectors, when air is gone it has always started after the line nuts are retightened.

If you can't get a significant amount of fuel in the tank some compressed air may be your friend. Just don't put too much air to it at once, or you may find your tank holds a few extra gallons afterward.
