Wife went to her high school reunion so I am home alone eating supper and thought it was maybe time for one of these again. Always fun to get some new meal ideas. Here goes.--Roast pork commercial with some home grown pulled pork I had roasted in the slow cooker yesterday, peach yogurt, glass of skim milk and then finish off with a quarter water melon. Life is good.
 
Ham sandwich with lettuce and mayo, potato chips, cucumbers with ranch dressing, and peanut butter cookies. Glass of ice water to wash it down. Not fancy, but tasted good.
 
Wife took me to Applebee's for my birthday supper. Had a Cowboy burger loaded with fried onion, raw red onion, lettuce, pickle and tomato with fries on the side. A guy gets tired of Homemade BLT's, cucumber salad, cantaloupe, coffee and chocolate cake.
 
I would tell my Doc to drink all of the skim milk he wants because I am not!!!! That stuff is nasty tasting. Plain water tastes better.
 
After my wife's first heart attack about 8 years ago she had to start drinking skim milk. I was slow to change, but finally did so we didn't have to keep two kinds of milk. We had previously drank 2%. I have gotten use to skim and now cannot drink the 2%, taste like straight cream.

My birthday too!

We went to Del Fresco's Mexican restaurant. Chicken and veggie fajitas. Great food! Bad atmosphere... Too crowded, too loud, and way too COLD!

I was raised on raw milk with the cream poured off. After the neighbor's cows went down the road at maybe age fourteen I couldn't stomach the pasteurized, homogenized, so I had skim until I went away to school.
