Need help with platform removal on Deere 2520

Does anyone know the trick to removing the operator's platform on a John Deere 2520? It seems impossible to do so without removing the foot throttle but I see no where to access the bottom panel of the dash to get to the foot throttle to disconnect that. Any suggestions? Thanks

If you have the four bolts out of the platform and the clutch spring unhooked (assuming it's a Syncro-Range) then unlatch the seat and slide it clear back. You then lift the rear of the platform while sliding it back. You should be able to get past the foot throttle by doing so. The platform is a little awkward to handle so be careful. Mike

What Mike said but also unhook the differential lock pedal in the back of the platform, if so equipped. Having 2 people is helpful. Lots and lots of wiggling and cussing.
