fabricating a goose neck hitch

I've seen some three point 'quick hitches' with a ball attached to the top of it.As I recall, they had a steel plate welded to the top and the ball attatched to that.

I have 2 of these, There the 3 point tree from an old JD field cultivator that I junked out. This one I didn't add the goose neck ball to it but it is still handy around the farm moving trailers and equipment around with it. Comes in real handy when your by yourself and the tung is on the ground. The other one has a plate welded to the top with the ball on it to move the goose neck trailer. Just an idea. Bandit

I have used one for years on my tractor. Simple to make. Just a piece of 1/2" steel plate bolted to the draw bar and a 2" 2x2 heavy wall square tube. Have a trailer ball on both top and bottom. Handy to move goose neck or other trailer of regular height. If I can remember will try to take a picture of it tomorrow and send it if you like. Beats getting on or off tractor to move stuff around

This is what I made a few years ago. It is a add on hitch for a pickup that I found in the iron pile. Some other pieces from the iron pile and walla.

I should add I built these some 25 years or more ago when I had a real need for them. Another one of those it will never catch on ideas. Bandit
