Hesston 540 Round Baler pros n cons

Any thing I should know about a Hesston 540 baler before I buy one. Maybe looking at one this week. Thanks

I have a 530, the smaller version of the 540. I have had graet service out of it. You have the usual mantanace you will have with anything.
If you can hook it to a tractor and hook up the hydrloic lines you should be able toput slack on the belts. with slack on the belts grab each roller and try to shake it. IF you get any play or hard turning you have a bad bearing.

A very, very popular baler in my area with a sterling reputation. Never heard a bad word about them or the 530.
