Time For A Few Pictures

No, they are ALL tractor related, but I thought I would catch you guys up:

1st: My B-Day June 10th. Mom got me those, I was trying em out, and maybe goofin' off a little too... :)

2nd: My crop! 52 Bales, 30lbs a piece, sold ALL of them the next day for $3.50 a piece, $175, pretty good. Oh ya, Black Lightnin' my other "tractor" is in there too. :)

3rd: My Ford 2n, along the way... I got a wild hair and tore it all down, cleaned it up, and started shooting primer! Don't have a picture of it primered yet, but I will get one soon!

4th: My way of "BRYCE, Get a bigger ladder!" Cherries are comming in HOT AND HEAVY. 40 lbs off that one tree alone, plus more to come off of it next week!

Thanks for looking! Bryce

As another younger member(23) of this forum. I like it when other young guys post pictures and ask questions. I've been looking at a lot of your posts and it seems you know what you are doing and if you don't you ask. Thats the best way to go. I've also read where your dad helps you. That was the biggest thing for me. My dad didn't farm or really get into tractors but now we expanded our "farm" and have a blast doing all this farming stuff together. Keep it up.

This is not a scolding, A friend of mine had a son that fell eight feet out of a loader bucket and was killed. Be Careful

I don't post much but I always read what you and Bryce post. It's nice to you young fellers getting involved the way you do! Good Luck to both of you.

FullersFarmalls, I didn't know that you were that young. I am glad to see young men such as yourself and Bryce taking an interest in farming and preserving older equipment. After all, there has to be someone to carry the torch after we older ones have rode off into the sunset. And Bryce, I enjoyed the pictures.

For real. Its nice to see young guys getting into what some call a hobby, its been my way of life for me. Bravo to Bryse and and the next batch that appreciates this old junk we try make a living on!

I will add this: stay safe. I got hurt bad driving a tractor when 19. 2 surgeries and 1 year later, things were 90%. But getting hurt at farming seriously wipes away all the hard work. Here are a few rules of mine now: slow it down when you feel like you have to speed things up. Also, if you can picture a way of getting hurt, you probably will, so don't do that. Never work on running machinery. Never step over a PTO, running or not. Etc. You get the point.

I actually don't know where that is? I am in Sandpoint, about 45 min from Canada...

I wish that there were more of you guys in my area! I think that the closest is Eldon WA. Mom and Dad are going to Hawaii for the year, and I am thinking about taking a little road trip back east through farming country to a big tractor show. IF I do, I will have to plan my route according to where all yall live!

Thanks for the positive comments my friends! Bryce

Bryce,

Nice pics. You are an ambitious young man. Our son would probably get along with you... he works on pickups, but does like our old tractors.

Keep up the good work.

If you have any farm stores near you... they sell little bales for $10 - maybe you could sell some through them and make another buck a bale. Just a thought.

I have a set of those radio ear muffs. They make loud and tedious chores more enjoyable- weed whacking, running the angle grinder, etc. Didn"t think I would use them much but they are actually pretty nice.
