The wifey and I watched this puppy jump for a biscut, while touring the upper forty, here at Clinton Camp Farm.
The last two pics are the corn in the upper 40, and the freshly groomed road back to the farm. I drew in some salvaged fill from my driveway project at my dads house and filled in some washouts on the road. Groomed it up with my Kubota B2150 and york rake.
That's my shadow takeing the last pic. HeHe.

Greetings neighbor.

What's that next to the corn- bedrock-outcrop?

Been wondering what your elevation is there, as you don't consider yourself in the Mohawk valley. What is your drainage basin? I assume it flows into the Mohawk eventually, but maybe not?

Bob,
We have to comply with the Chesepeak Bay Regulatory Commission. My home is at 1413' above sea level/ The upper 40 corn field is about 75-100' higher and IS the divide for water flowing North to the Mohawk River, and South to The Susquehana.

Used to have registered holstine dairy cattle. The milking heard averaged about 90 cows, and the barn on the left and center housed about 50 heifers and calves.
The uncles sold off the animals about 10 years back, and produce cash crops, oats & straw, alfalfa hay, corn, and beans.
One of them is 80, and the other is 78. It is too bad that there is knowone in the family to take over the operation.
The syrup season was very poor. We had no consistent runs, and syrup was dark in color.
