another grain bin accident

ambulance and rescue rolled by the shop about 20 min ago, sounds like someone is trapped in a grain bin. hope all comes out well.
 
Thought I heard something about a grain bin incident. Don't you live up by Earlsville or Sandwich. I get up to Ottawa-LaSalle-Peru every day, and sometimes up to Mendota. I oughta let you buy lunch sometime.
 
John, I am in Yorkville, stop at the shop some time , Yorkville auto body, 808 s bridge rt 47 . Just heard a little more info. It was at the. Grain Co FSLIC on helmer rd. employee got leg caught in auger. Haven't heard his condition.
 
Yeh, I remember that now. If I get over that way, I'll stop by.

Hopefully the man and his leg will be OK. Bad stuff usually follows and auger injury.
 
Glennster, lots of people from your area bought ground in my area. Craig Stewart has about 5K in Dewitt and Piatt counties. I used to farm next to him down around Weldon and he has some ground next to Farmer City. Others from Tingley Park and Joliet are down here. Bernie Boles is a big player.
 
There was a big urban sprawl boom a few years back and the developers were paying huge money for farmland around here 50 to 80 k an acre. Lot of guys did 1031 exchanges.
