I posted about the '58 MF 65 given to my son. he discovered it had a broken exhaust valve spring, then found the exhaust manifold full of mud dobber nests. That led to finding sand in the cylinders. Engine is now clean, head rebuilt, radiator at the shop. Next challenge - why is it stuck in ground PTO and bits of clutch material in the bell housing? I can guess.

It's amazing how mud dappers can fill any available space with their nests. Looks like he's making some good progress. Those free things usually end up costing a lot more than free. LOL
 
combination learning experience and character building experience. he'll have it at Moravia next year...... I think.
I'm still planning to be at the show in Moulton the 27th. It should be around 102 - 103 by then. Ha.
 
the pan was amazingly clean. very little sludge and no metal. hope to be starting it an a week depending on his work schedule.
