Nancy, a while back you posted about chiggers...

And I said they didn't like me, never bothered me anymore...

Well, guess what, I must have found some really hungry ones 'cause I got em BAD! Funny, my wife was there too and she didn't get a one.

Seems like the chiggers aren't as bad as they were, but we just had a rain so they may be back.

Get Allegra 2% anti-itch cream. It works very well and isn't pricey. Don't remember the name of the active ingredient. As long as the active ingredient and the quantity is the same, doesn't matter what brand you buy.
 
I know what happened... I was in Stephenville, where the UFO's have been flying around...

They dropped alien life form intergalactic chiggers we have no defense against! Could very well be the beginning of the Apocalypse! LOL

I'm still waiting for a way to know when and where they are so I can just go elsewhere.
 
First time I got chiggers/red bugs I was told to put a drop of finger nail polish over the center of each spot. If you don't use clear you'll look a bit strange, but the color really doesn't matter. I was told that the polish cuts off air to the chigger, causing it to die rather quickly.

I've had them a few times over the years, once in a rather sensitive area, and the polish trick has worked every time for me. Too, something about it seemed to make the spot stop itching. Might be worth a try for you if you haven't done it already.
