I am heading to Rushville IN on 31st July then moving up towards
Niagra falls during the following week and across to Detroit to see
the Ford museum and finally to La Grange IN for the Ferguson Expo
on the first weekend of August....Anyone know of any County fairs
along my route? or even tractor salvage yards and dealerships....MF
if possible!. Hope to meet some of you at either Rushville Massey
Expo or La Grange Fergie Expo.....looking forwards to a few days off
from this busy place of mine!

If you are in the detroit area August 16 you should check out Woodward Dream Cruise. Antique, classic, hot rods you name it cruising on Woodward avenue. Side streets closed and lined with cars. One street all Cobras(about 40 last year), one street model A's. Manufacturer tents with NEW cars, vendors, food, shows. Lots to see and do. Check out the link.

If a buddy from Wisconsin goes, since its so close for me, I may take in the Rushville Indiana Massey Show the end of July. I owned no less then seven of them over the years and like them

Our favorite county fair is the Ingham County Fair in Mason, Michigan running this year from July 28 to Aug 2. Real nice people and all kinds of everything, and real clean. Mason is just south of Lansing, MI. We are going to go on Tues July 29 this year.

There is a MF dealer in Rushville . I am just about 25 mile from there but dont know if I will make the show . There is also CaseIH and Agco in Rushville .

The end of the month would be too late to catch the Elkhart County Fair in Goshen, IN, one county west of LaGrange. It runs July 18th to the 26th, and it's huge.

Wrong time of the year really as the flora (and fauna) are in full swing, but a walk around the acreage of Hein and Son just south of Mishawaka, IN may find you pieces from or a whole piece of machinery you can take back across the pond with you. Alot of parts and equipment from just about any manufacturer. They're only open Sundays and Mondays, or by appointment.

Smaller scale tractor show than LaGrange, but not far away is a nice show east of Jones, MI the 1st-3rd of August. http://www.sjvoea.org/

More rail than ag really, but the Hesston Steam Museum is a gem hidden between New Buffalo, MI, and LaPorte, IN. http://hesston.org/index.html

yep,

Go to Hines if you can. As mentioned, you'll only see about 1/3 of it with the trees in full foliage.

I swear they have one of anything ever made. tractor or not. Stumbled across a mortuary table in the woods one time i was there.
