Kornfused. In all my years of cutting firewood, We haven't seen such. I would consider it toxic and would be very careful in glove handling it. Burning such would be hazardous in my opinion. Going to google and see if there is any information available. I'll report back if I can find any information, Maybe others have run across it and they can give factual information.
Regards LOU.

This is the best we can come up with, but still we never seen anything like what you showed. I would consider it unsafe, until proven other wise. Better safe than sorry. I used to save the big half mushrooms that grew on elm trees, hard as a rock. Put them on our fireplace for mantle pieces. Got rid of them when we moved into our new house,as we didn't put in a fireplace. We have a few dead elm down by the creek, bone dry, makes fine firewood,it just died beaver damed up the creek and flooded the trees over winter time froze em out.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
Regards,
LOU

I googled it too and found what I think is the same thing, but I could find any real info on it. I think I'll bury it.
