Anyone try a pair of Field & Forest Work Boots? They arn't cheap at $150.00-200.00 pair but they are made in the usa and look good. I think they are made in merrill wi. Anyone have any other recommendations for usa made work boats?

I will only wear Rockies. I get them at Family Center but haven't needed a new pair in about 18 months - can't tell you if they are USA. Most comfortable boots that wear like iron.

I have a size 15 so I sometimes have a hard time finding good shoes I tried some Danners and I like them. They arent cheap they are comfortible though, and appear to be well built another choice would be Mason Shoes

SIL worked for Mason shoes; lost her job several years ago when they moved all production out of the country.

I have never seen that brand of boot around here. I wore Red Wings for years but 15 years ago I went to Chippewa loggers ($200.00 boot) and get 4 to 5 years out of a pair( wear them 6 days a week). The boot I buy is insulated (400 gram thinsulate), waterproof ( chip-a-tex) and electrical safety toe. I like these boots because you can put them on the very first day and wear them all day( no break in like the other boots I have woren).

I have a pair of Field and Forest work shoes. They are about 3 or 4 years old. Good shoes. I got them on sale at $100. Felt like they were broke in at first time on. I"d recommend them.
