makes the ground soft. 2 in. sun night and another in. tues. Decided to rip this stump out while the ground was soft. One pull with the hoe and it came right out. Didn't fight at all. Wish they was all that easy.

I was going to start digging potatoes this week here in west Michigan, but decided to wait until next week to begin the harvest. Too much rain, the ground is saturated, not to mention all the washouts in the fields I have been working on.
