Ford 7610

Have a great 7610 with no issues and while warming up yesterday throttle advanced a couple hundred rpm"s on its own. It ran for a few seconds like that and settled back down. I have run in extreme cold and never had any issues--never used ether either.

Possibly some fuel that was contaminated with gasoline

My 971 was doing that for a little while once. A new filter cured it.

Got an air bubble... What year is the tractor? Does it have a rotary pump or a Minimec pump?
I'd probably change the filter for good measure and keep an eye on it.
