Ford 8N hyrdaulic Problem

Scooping gravel with our bucket scoop on the tractor. hydraulic life went up but would not come down. sat overnight and slowly lowered to the ground. Now it will not come back up. never had a problem and was working perfectly fine before now. What could be wrong?

That said sounds like you may have a sticking control valve. I would start by getting an I-T FO-4 manual then pull the right hand inspection cover and have a look see in side and see if you can more the control valve by hand
