Starting to get worried about my garden

Best looking sweet corn I have ever had. Everything is just producing like crazy to this point.
I will need to spray the ears soon so we don't have worms in them at harvest time. The hardest part will be keeping the birds away as the silk starts to dry out.

Yesterday we took the second cutting off the field around the garden, that should help keep the varmints away.

Good looking garden. What are you going to spray to keep the worms out of the ears? I read somewhere to plant other things in your rows of corn to get more from a small garden. Don"t plant watermelons as they are now knee high and taking over, not sure I can get to the corn. Looks like maybe a week before corn can be picked.

Beautiful garden! Looks like pretty country also. Where is it? Well, what state is it in? I don't expect the actual location, 'cause someone just might pay your garden a visit. LOL

It's in SE Ohio, lol. We put away 65 pints of peas in the freezer, and I seen this morning those darn things are still blooming. Supposed to get some more rain tonight and tomorrow, that will keep things growing.

I need a helper like that - someone that is close to the ground to bend down and pick things for me!

Nice garden. Ours has had water sitting in it the last few weeks. Went in there yesterday(first day you could walk in it for the last month) grass around the onions, peppers and tomatoes was waist high. Other plants in the lower end never grew from the ground being too wet......

That's funny you should mention that. I held the leaves back while he picked the cherry tomatoes this morning. Those little hands can get back in there and not knock off the green fruits.

About ready to abandon my garden, it's growing real good but it rains all the time, had the weeds all out of it once a month ago follow by 5 inchs of rain and could'nt keep up with the weeds. Potato bugs a worst bunch I've seen ever and rains every time I spray and the trees are full of coons watching my corn.

wow - beautiful country, great looking garden and firewood all cur and stacked - you got the world by the tail!

I wish I could plant a garden, no, just about anything without needing a tight fence around it at least 6 feet tall. No fence just doesn"t work at all here.

Did I mention that I HATE deer!

Looks like your garden is doing great!!!
