Today's jobs

Busy couple of days lately. On top of starting on my project 1030 yesterday, it hasn't rained for 3 days so it's back to the fields. Started by spraying the corn yesterday and this morning. That's one of my favorite jobs. Since it dried out finally we decided to finish the planting. It's more than a little late, but it will be for silage, so it should be ok. Sprayed with Jeff's 2-85 White. That is a nice tractor and runs and drives very well. Then brought out the 2394 for some chiseling and discing and some cultivating with the White. Pulled the drill with the super 77 Oliver. Also planted a few acres of corn that was left. Hope the frost holds off til it's ready to chop. I've never planted this late before, but some have, so we'll see. As you can see in the video it's still a bit wet, but we got it all done.

I planted some silage corn July 8th one year. If it had been an earlier corn it would have been better. It was some 95 day that I had left. It made it to the milk stage before it froze. Oh well,it was feed.

Good looking 2-85,but then you knew that would get my attention didn't you? lol
