Rain band from the hurricane!!

Just finished getting a rain band that turned in to thunderstorms off the hurricane. 1.1 in. Very nice rain with just a little wind. Can stop watering the garden for a few days now. Cooled down some too. Was 93 and fell to 78. Hope you folks that need rain get some of this system. Was getting pretty rough looking here this past week.

We got 1/2" last evening and just received another soaking about an hour ago. Radar looks like more on its way. A buddy over near Lexington got 2" yesterday and had slow steady rain so far this evening. He also stopped watering the garden.

getting wind and rain and have been for a while. it is increasing over time. under a hurricane watch and a tornado watch also. I am between Swansboro and Morehead city NC. it will get worse a the night goes on. hopefully we will not have any damage. I am about 4 or 5 miles as thew crow flies from the ocean.
