Rain and a blown tire

I intended to cut wood this week, but Monday here in Haliburton we were under a storm and tornado warning, and yesterday a storm warning, didn't get the tornado but did get the rain. Lots of washouts, and a few roads closed for a few hours till the water ran off. The lake here is up over a foot in the last two days, that will make the Trent Canal happy! We had a small washout on our road, just a coupled of buckets full would fix it. I drove off the road to get the dirt, picked up a bucket full and got stuck, drove ahead and came back fast and caught the right front tire on a small culvert, cut it open like a knife. So drive to Lindsay to get a new one, a two hour drive each way. No work got done today..
