Heard the sirens go off around 2:30 AM and I had a rough day so was still awake. Got up and turned on TWC and the interactive said sever t-storm warning till 3:15. Fell asleep listening to it roll in and the next thing I know there was a gust of wind like to blow the window out of it's frame. Made me sit straight up. Seemed OK after that but this AM I have two trees down in the yard. S'posed to cut the rest of the hay tomorrow but I bet the west line has trees down in the field and I cannot wait to drive out to the main place and see if the corn is still standing and how many more ash trees fell out of the woodlot. One interesting summer after another anymore.

Here in nw Ohio it came thru about 2:30 also. The wife had the patio umbrella up and I was awakened by that hitting the roof of the house! Got pretty nasty for a little bit.

Where (generally) are you at? I see you talking about hay. Like to watch who is cutting and when. With the lousy weather forecasting around here I gather what info I can to make my decisions.

Pretty uneventful here. Mainly just rain, but that's making it miserable trying to cut down, wet, tangled, rank hay. Good wind blowing,so it getting a little better as the day wears on.

Not much here, SW Michigan. Maybe a half inch or a little better. Some wind but no damage; corn is still standing tall.

Randy and I are both in Montcalm county. He's about 20 miles south of me. I'm still trying to get the hay I cut last WEDNESDAY dry. If we hadn't got that rain Sunday I might have gotten lucky. Will probably try to re-rake it again tomorrow. My drum mower won't have much trouble with downed or tangled hay, but I don't want to get ahead of myself.

My stomping grounds would be the Brighton/Howell area. I had kids in both schools because I have property in both communities. Brighton has a lot of trees down. Haven't been out to Howell yet to see what is up there. Spent all day out there yesterday spraying corn.

Here I am chiming in at 20 to 8 pm. We lost power 2:30 am and the estimate to get back on is 11pm tomorrow night. Got the generator running but a large box elder blew down and damaged my pole barn. Spent all day getting the wood off the roof.

I feel bad for you guys out west. I live in northeast pa and we got are of our first cutting hay in on june 29

Got lots of wind and 1" of rain here in Branch County, MI--south central Michigan. Had 1" of rain. Son in Brighton won't have power until tomorrow.
