6060 allis chalmer wont start off key

My dad has a 1982 6060 AC. It will start off starting fluid or by popping clutch but will not start off the key even if u have run it all day and just turned it off. I have adjusted the injection pump after marking it before I started but it does not help. Any ideals?
 
Early ones have low compression pistons. Doesn't take much wrong to make them not start. Up side is can run them at over 100 HP and last. With a intercooler. Try Two batt. And have your starter rebuilt. Vic
 

It has been like this for over 10 years. It does have two batts on it and the starter was rebuild a few years ago. The tractor runs awesome once we get it started. we make sure not to kill it to the jobs r done. I just wish it would start back we it is hot. I hate shooting starting fluid to a hot engine.
 

My younger brother gave me a shop manual four years ago when we were replacing the clutch. Thanks. Is it possible for the roosa master injection pump to be 180 out and still run good when it is running? I checked the timing this morn. It is dead on 18 BTDC. I did notice that it did not smoke at all when i turned it over with the key afterwards. The pump may be bleeding off? Ive read that roosa masters have this problem. Could it be anything else? Please help if you can! Thanks Justin
