Second cut. First cut same day pics

Knocked down about ten acres of first cut grass hay with my 50 year old 730 Case and 23 year old 488 haybind. Then cut about 20 acres of second cut with JD swather. Was a beauty hot day, and the bride brought me out a cold one. This was a good day for making hay. Bruce

Mowed hay with 488 today as well. Used my 479 as well. 175 and 180 Massey tractors. My ground floor was still pretty wet in the last piece I mowed.

I played in the mud today...too bad I was trying to make hay! Still a tad too wet from the small rains we had yesterday. Ted it again in the morning and hope it dries before it rains again.
 
I was one of the few around here to be lucky enough to get my first up before all the rain. Want to cut again first if the week and I'm pretty sure I'll be lapping some people.
 
Mowed about 20 acres yesterday. Now weather guessers are saying thunder storms for Sunday, Sure hope it gets dry so we can bale it on Saturday. Hit 1 water spot (too wet to be called a wet spot LOL) and sunk the mowing tractor in to the drawbar. Had to come home & get another tractor to get it out. Durned old forgetful Me, I knew that swamp was there but forgot to tell my friend that was helping me. He was opening up that field, bet he'll remember that spot LOL. Just gotta laugh at some things once in awhile. Keith
