john deere two cylinder

I have a john deere 630 that will only run on one cylinder. I have bright blue spark ..recently renewed all ignition. plug is wet when pulled so it is getting gas. If I have spark and gas why wont the right cyl fire

you must be missing the 3rd component required for combustion, compression. Check for sticking valve or one that is adjusted too tight.

Or a valve that's backed away. Had that happen with an A. Either way, the valve cover is easy to pull off. Jim

You might also consider checking the valve springs.

Had one broken on one of our MTs and it only ran on one cylinder.

A wet plug could be from antifreeze ?

Just a touch to the finger and then to the tongue and if it is sweet you got BIG problems.

checked for a stuck valve today...not the problem. cleaned plug to right cyl even though it is a new plug. ran on two cyl for several minutes. pulled the plug, it was wet...not gas. will check for antifreeze tomorrow..thanks
