Took H out for a drive

I fired up the H tonight and drove it about a mile and half to town and filled up with fuel. It ran great, the temp got almost up to run with it in the 80s here.

I am planning to take MH44 to town tomorrow and fill up with fuel, as a maiden voyage. I want to go to town weekend after next for parade.
 
I am not planning any more improvements to MH44, just finish up the details. I do have to make a new seat mount and make some changes to 3pt lift mountings.
 
A little familiar, for sure. Moved to Cedar Rapids in 1961 - was a salesman for the old Rath Packing Company for a year and had several accounts in Mt. Vernon and Lisbon, plus almost every other small town in a 30 or 40 mile radius of "The Rapids" as one customer called it.

Joined Collins Radio in 1962, moved to Florida with them in 1977 and retired in 1996.

Got a good friend who lives on Radio Road northeast of Marion and we stay at Squaw Creek Campground when we're up there.

I live right on old Mount Vernon road, 1.5 miles from town towards Cedar Rapids. The farm was settled in the 1830's with a log cabin, then house was built in the 1850's, that was replaced by mine about 10 years ago.
 
Thanks for the reply. If we get up there this year, I'll for sure give you a shout and maybe have a cup of coffee or something. I need to go see IaGary again, too.
