I emailed that place that onefarmer linked to about new rollers for this Vicon discmower/conditioner. I asked for a ballpark estimate what it would cost for a new ones. They estimated in the neighborhood of $6000. I'd have to respectfully decline I'm afraid. Nice to know there are places that do that kind of thing, but that machine's a little bit too old to put that kind of money in to.

If your just trying to find rollers for that mower there is a guy up by Ithaca that makes them I think dad has the number if you're interested. He made one for our NI round baler for about half to a quarter of what a new one would have cost. Or you could make steel ones from round tube and weld your old plugs in the ends.

Ya,they were going to upgrade it to molded rolls.
I called a dealer in Kentucky about the repair kits that were supposed to be available to repair those old ones. He said he hadn't had any luck getting them anymore.
