OT/game cam

I want to know where the pigs are coming/going on our farm and am thinking about getting a game cam. Not looking to spend much $$. I don't want anything fancy, just basic that will snap a pic.

Any recommendations?

Bushnell trophy cam. I've got 5 of them. If you keep watch on Amazon they go on sale for right around $100 I believe. The only issue I've had is one that's 4 or 5 years old has had the screen quit working. It still takes pictures, but you can't change any of the settings. If you get the good lithium batteries, they'll last a year plus.

i bought some wildview game cameras from gander mountain a few years back. uses c batteries. add an sc card and it will take about 300 pictures. right around 55 dollars a camera. i am happy with em. heres a pic

Nancy H,

Ive tried and experienced a few different brands. I'd say the Moultrie is not cheap, but several YEARS of outdoor continuous use in Minnesota, I had to replace two of them.

I am not endorsing ay brand, but that's my experience.

I use the cheap Moultrie and Wildview cameras at my camp.
both good.
All have the removable disk cards, so swapping them out with spares to check out pics at home is easy.
Rechargeable batteries are a must, especially in cold weather.
My Wildview has the optional big battery that sits on the ground below it. Lasts for months.
Always wanted to get a solar recharge panel...someday.
