Cylinder liners

Are there standard liners that can be used on a Minneapolis-moline 425 diesel engine to get bores back to standard. Think I may have one bad cylinder, I have a spare standard piston. There are few spare parts for these tractors in the UK so a repaire would be the only real option I think.

Molines are not a sleved engine. Bore is cast in the block. An auto machine shop can bore it and re-sleve it. Or bore and oversize

can't imagine it's got such an odd cylinder that there isn't a sleeve available.

Only problem is the price grows exponentially with the size of the sleeves.

Still cheaper than a new tractor - but they do get surprisingly expensive for a simple metal cylinder.
