Another electrical question

I am needing to pull (3) 120 volt circuits in 3/4 emt. I know to pull (3) #12 black thnn & (3) #12 white thnn. But do I need to pull (3) #12 green thnn. or can I use just one ? Thanks Dave.

Just one grounding conductor is fine. Actually, by code, you don't have to pull the green wire with EMT....but a good installation will have the green wire.

Depending on your service, and circuit needs, you could possibly only pull one neutral also.....

[3] any color ungrounded conductor but grey or white or green. [3] white [1] green. If you use all black wrap tapes to identify each end. Assuming you don't want to buy very expensive number markers.

I agree with the other sparkies. A single Equipment GroundING Conductor can suffice, although in my days I have, subject to conduit size and circuits and use, ran one for each branch circuit. Of course for isolated or dedicated grounding circuits you would need more. I was never a fan of multi wire branch circuits for residential use as the Billy Bobs and Bubbas of the world would get electrocuted as they likely have no idea of whats going on. When properly used you can get by with only a single Neutral for each of the two hot A & B phases in a 120/240 volt single phase system and again only one Equipment GroundING Conductor thus a double savings.

As previously stated. If you pair the proper line supplies. One neutral will handle two live line loads. The one ground should suffice.
Could pull four lines, two neutrals and a ground . I don't have a code book at hand but that is going to close or over 40% conduit fill. Never seen anybody pull too much power into a location. Could consider four number eights in and use a local pony panel ?

Why not pul one 220 system though and then split it up and the other end with a breaker box to handle 3 circuits. Just like your main line coming in to the house is split up to handle everything.
