I have a case 530 the bucket leaks down.

I have a case 530 Case o Matic equipped with a front end loader. The loader leaks down rather quick regardless if loaded or not. What could be the problem?

Either a cylinder leaking, or control valve. Are the cylinders double acting?

No the cylinders are not double acting

Unplug the hoses from the tractor. If it still
settles, it is the cylinder seals. If it holds when
unplugged then it is the tractor.

You should have fluid come out the top vents on the cylinders when you raise them all the way up if they are leaking, if not it is a valve issue.

I do not agree with the other method of testing on single acting cylinders, that applies to double acting cylinders.

I have a case 530 the bucket leaks down.
