Hail dent remover

Have any of ya'll ever tried to remove hail dents? I noticed they have some tools that make it look pretty easy. I pulled up some videos on the internet and to me it looked easy. I had two pickups get some hail damage and do not have insurance.
I was thinking off trying it.

Easy is a relative term. It is a slow learning process, before one gets satisfactory results. If the dent isn't too deep, and is accessible, give it a go. If it is deep, leave it alone, metal can only stretch so much. Takes a real talent to remove the dents without leaving noticeable ripples.

I always heard, but have not tried, getting the metal hot in direct sun and then dry ice in the divot!

My oldest girl once bought a hail damaged, almost, new car. Two years later, sitting around in the sun, there was maybe three dents left in it.

As has already been mentioned, dry ice is supposed to remove dents. I learned this on another website a few years ago. One of the participants ran a used car lot and told about putting dry ice in the pocket of the dent and letting it sit in the sun. I know the dealershi8p where I once worked had a man come by ever so often, I think it was called "The Dent Doctor", he had some godawful looking tools, but he was good at removing dents. I am sure he had to undergo quite a bit of training to do so.

Kinda strange how that works. Dry Ice shrinks the metal, yet it was REGULAR ICE impacting it that stretched the metal and made the dent.
