Turkeys are locked away in the empty pheasant pen. Geese are in with the goats. Dogs are in crates and cats are too. The only bird on the turkey roost is the dead hen, her feet wired on either side of the lowest roost and the remains hanging down. Below her are three leg hold traps that I dusted off today. Haven't put out a set like this in quite a while but I need this critter gone. Big box trap up under the apple tree with chicken meat in it. No poison put out as we get rain off and on. Trail cam is aimed at the turkey roost to see what comes by even if it doesn't chance on a trap. Marlin 60 loaded and sitting next to the door.
