TN75s code 81

I have a TN75s. I get an orange grear lighting up and the unit won't move. I have to shuttle it from reverse to forward and when the code comes up you can move it forward or reverse. The clutch will not work. To move it I have to use the shuttle shifter and don't touch the clutch.

Please help.
Any help woud be apprecated. Thanks

This is the list of trouble codes to the TN75S. My guess is the problem is pressure, as it's a pressure switch which is triggering the code. I used to have one, had to replace a seal in the tranny when it would only operate in 2 wheel drive. Don't remember what the code was then though. Good luck with it.

Take your manual and find the section on transmission self diagnostics. When that happened to my 8240 with the 16x16 the self diagnostic showed that one of the clutch packs in the trans was not holding much pressure. It was only a twenty dollar seal $2,000 dollars deep in the transmission. You are most likely headed for a complete transmission overhaul.
