Upcoming MN trip...ideas?

I have a work related trip to Oshkosh coming up the week of June 23 thru 29. Looking for things to see, places to eat, etc. Not sure yet what time I'll have on my hands or my mobility - that depends on if I drive too. If I don't ride with the others and drive separate it could be dangerous as there's got to be a lot of tractor parts, tractors, implements, etc. between Southern IN and there!

SE MN is beautiful hilly country...Harmony, MN...etc...Amish country. Spam Museum in Austin. Tractor salvage in Cambridge, open pit iron mine and museum in Hibbing/Chisholm area. Duluth ports and museums, lift bridge. Google "Minnesota tourism".
 
It takes a farmer who likes to look at tractors to be able to see Minnesota on his way from southern Indiana to Oshkosh, Wisconsin. I understand completely.
 
Rochester Minnesota just off 1-90, home of the Mayo Clinic.
History Center at 1195 West Circle Drive S W maybe be able to give you a tour of Mayowood Mansion, Also at the site, the home of MHRT
(mechanical history round table) which has some antique/classic tractor and equipment on display, and may be working in the fields on the day you visit
 
if you are going to be in Oshkosh,WI.there is a big thrsheree/national antique tractor pull that weekend in Symco.40 minutes north.

i think thats the week of EAA, experimental aircraft assn. not tractor related, but its a big show, most are zipping around above my farm for the whole week. dont expect to get a hotel room within 100 miles during that week

Well, Oshkosh is in WI for one, about 5 hours from MN.

The EAA flyin at Oshkosh is at the end of July.

Otherwise as others have pointed out, there is lots to see. What part of MN will you be in? Southern, more 'farm' country, Nothern, more 'tree' country.

Wisconsin - not sure why I said MN. I have my share of bonehead moments.
Oshkosh WI.
And the ideas about the airshow sound cool.

No issues with the accommodations. The festival is taking care of that for us!
 
If you are going through Milwaukee you can see the Harley museum, the zoo is good. 21-22 Milwaukee air and water show. Summer fest if you like music. 28-29 Cedarburg strawberry fest. Lots of good places to eat. To much to list.
